No Climate Change (Washington Post) from Cap-and-Trade

Lisa Jackson, head of the EPA is a very talented and smart woman. However, when asked if the Waxman-Markey bill (1400 pages) would stop the climate change, she deliberately evaded the question by Senator Barasso. Remember, it was Ms. Jackson who concluded that CO2 is a pollutant, in spite of her knowledge, as a scientist, that CO2 is ever-present in normal atmosphere.
She claims that it’s important because the US is a leader. However, as Ms. Jackson knows, several European nations have tried this before and failed to achieve the expected results. However, she does admit that it will have to require international commitment, and, right now, developing nations, like India and China are not willing to go that route. Additionally, if the legislation passes, Ms. Jackson will have more power than Obama. Listen here and also watch her subtle contempt:
