Al Gore’s Journalists:Laura Ling and Euna Lee
The world was stunned when they heard that the two journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, working for Al Gore’s San Francisco based TV channel were sentenced to 12 years of hard labor in the infamous prison-slave camps of North Korea.
NY Times reported that the Central Court “convicted them of “committing hostilities against the Korean nation and illegal entry,” the North’s official news agency, KCNA, said in a report monitored in Seoul.”
The new channel is innovative and is called “Current”, according to SF Gate, and will connect the Internet and cable TV, with viewers’ input. It is scheduled to premier on August 1, 2009.
Well, good thing they work for Al Gore. We all know what a considerate and concerned person he is; he’s so concerned about Global Warming and all. There are some skeptics, however, who believe that Al is just in it to make a windfall of money from all the “green companies” in which he owns stock.
I’m sure he’ll do something right away to free them; shouldn’t be too hard to come up with some “ransom money”, hey Al? However, it seems that, according to Free Republic, that Al’s ” site is deleting comments from readers, they’ve posted a guard at their San Francisco studio to keep out the press, and not one article has appeared on his own journalist’s in their news section.”
Maybe we’re seeing the real Al Gore.
