Another Gruesome Craigslist Murder
This is really a shocker, and I’ve only seen this in the movies, but maybe that’s where the killer got the idea. According to The Daily Beast, a pregnant, tri-semester woman, Heather Snively, of Tigard, Oregon, has been murdered, and her baby taken out of the uterus. She was due in July.
Apparently, Heather was looking to trade some baby clothes from Craigslist, and met Roberts, who came to her home and then drove her to her place to pick up the clothes, supposedly. Korena Elaine Roberts is facing murder charges. Roberts took the baby boy to the hospital, but the baby dies, as well. the details of the murder have not been released, however, it appears that Roberts tried to pass the baby off as her own. The medical staff, however, became alarmed though, when they realized that Roberts was not in any post-partum condition. According to the news report, Roberts already has two other children, under 10.
So, a word of advice: take someone with you when answering a craigslist ad.
