According to Jim Hoff, “Snow has fallen in Dickinson (North Dakota) in June, the first time in nearly 60 years the city has seen snow past May…also record high temperature for Green Bay was 52F.”

The sign above was posted by a franchise in Memphis that states, even though the sign is not approved by BK corporate headquarters,  it claims it has its freedom of speech, which is not denied by the franchise agreement that it has with BK corporate headquarters in Miami. “Susan Robison, Burger King’s vice-president of corporate communications” stated that they had advised the franchise in Memphis to take the sign down, but the owner cites his First Amendment rights, stating that the sign is on private property. “The franchisee, a Memphis-based company called the Mirabile Investment Corporation (MIC) that own more than 40 Burger Kings across Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.”

Why would a Burger King franchise owner care about Global Warming, you might ask? According the the Gore-aholics, cows emit a significant amount of CO2 (farts) that, supposedly leads to Global Warming. Therefore, under Cap and Trade, we would probably see a huge increase in the price of beef, and subsequently, have huge ramifications on Burger King. In fact, a UN study said that the carbon emissions from livestock are much higher than those from cars.

According to Hampton Roads, Global Warming skeptics were meeting at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and “contend that global warming is a liberal-inspired hoax, intended to wrest control of world energy policy and wealth from Western countries so the United Nations can have its way…Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which shared a Nobel Peace Prize with Gore in 2007.” “We are seldom heard in the policy debate,” said Joseph L. Bast, president of The Heartland Institute (also participating in IPCC). “If you open your newspaper, turn on your TV set, you’re likely to see global warming alarmism, and nothing else.”
