Unemployment Soars in the “Blue” States

According to Dr. Jerome Corsi, the unemployment in the states that voted for Obama is 20% higher than in those that voted for McCain. Some of the states had a significant employment rate prior to the election, so most likely they were suckered in by the “Change” message. In California, Governor Schwarzenegger is contemplating the legalization of marijuana to raise a projected “1.6 billion in tax revenues.”

The up-and-coming “Cap and Trade” will also obliterate a significant number of energy related jobs, according to Jim HoftJ.D. Foster at the Heritage Foundation said “Policies like higher tax rates on small businesses, sustained massive budget deficits, doubling the national debt (and the consequent upward pressure on interest rates) and the building threats of government meddling in companies are eroding the foundations of the economy today and for the future.”

Another problem with the Obama economic team is their “creative” (fuzzy) math. Obama claims to have “created” 150,000 new jobs. However, the White House counts jobs “saved” (because of the stimulus) with jobs “created.” One  thing to always keep  in mind is that  Peter Orszag’s Consultancy Group, White House Budget  Director, is responsible for Iceland’s bankruptcy.
