Failure to revoke the scheduled wage cut before it takes effect July 1 could cost California $6.8 billion in stimulus money, according to state officials.” This was after SEIU requested the intervention from Obama’s DHHS.

Now, for any of you who were paying attention, yesterday, Obama had a chit-chat with the health care industry, AMA, etc. and asked them to cut costs. So, this contradictory stance on demanding wages restored to SEIU members can only be understood if you realize that SEIU was one of Obama’s biggest campaign contributors. SEIU is also highly involved in the so-called “Fair Choice Act”, which removes the secret ballot when voting in a union.
