According to The Assyrian International News Agency, there are several apologists here in this country for including Sharia law into our culture in the future. One of them, Dalia Mogahed, has just been appointed by Obama to be on the Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

“Georgetown University’s Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU)” hosted a conference last October about Sharia law and Modern States. Prince Alwaleed is the nephew of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, to whom Obama made his deep bow. The Saudi family is responsible for channeling huge sums into “Georgetown, Harvard, UC Berkeley, and beyond, and as the case of (John) Esposito demonstrates, it magnifies the voices of scholars with a decidedly uncritical bent.”

Esposito is the co-author with  Dalia Mogahed of “Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think”. However, it has been criticized for whitewashing the atrocities permitted under Sharia law, especially towards women. “Amazing as it sounds, according to Esposito and Mogahed, the proper term for a Muslim who hates America, wants to impose Sharia law, supports suicide bombing, and opposes equal rights for women but does not “completely” justify 9/11 is . . . “moderate.” Remember last month when the Taliban told the Obama Administration that there were no “moderate Muslims, only those who do not practice their faith”?

Britain now has, since last year, two systems of law, English and Sharia. No one convicted under Sharia law can appeal in the other system. The day after the 2008 Election, Henry Paulson and the other members of the US Treasury attended a conference at Harvard regarding the incorporation of Sharia law in financial institutions. In fact AIG is a Sharia-approved.

Again, just another indication that Obama was raised a Muslim and seems to have a fawning relationship with the Saudi Royal Family. Is it possible that was the source of his huge campaign contributions? Now that John “Slick Hair” Edwards is being investigated by the Feds for possible campaign funds violations,  possibly the Feds should take a look at Obama’s campaign sources.
