Well, I guess that “the One” thought he could just to to Europe and tell them how to run their affairs, suggesting that it would be a great idea to allow Turkey into the European Union in order to include a Muslim country. On TV, Sarkozy responded “I have been working hand in hand with President Obama but when it comes to the European Union it is up to member states of the European Union to decide [on membership].” Remember, it was Obama who told the European Union that “Americans have been arrogant, dismissive and derisive in the past towards Europe”. But I believe the Europeans will see his meddling as arrogant.
The blogger at Oil for Immigration believes that Obama is a Muslim whose Holy duty is to promote “the inclusion of Muslim Turkey into the European Union.” There are 70-80 million Muslims in Turkey, whereas Europe is predominantly Christian.
Then, Obama sent quite a mixed message when he brought up the subject of the Armenian genocide of 1915. A real sore spot for the Turkish. So much so that, when “the Orthodox Christian editor of the Agos paper, Hrant Dink, angered Turkish nationalists with repeated assertions that the mass killings of Armenians during the early 20th century was genocide, Dink was murdered on January 17, 2007.”
It was reported today that a Syrian man disguised as an Aljazeera reporter, al-Watan, (being confirmed) was arrested today in an Obama assassination conspiracy plot in Turkey. There were continuous protests against Obama in Turkey, because of his pushing for Turkey to join NATO in the Afghanistan war.
Here he is saying that “we (Americans) do not consider ourselves a Christian nation,” again altering the fundamental principles upon which this nation was built, i.e., a Judeo-Christian culture. His pandering is humiliating this nation. If it had been based on Islamic-Sharia law, then honor killings, forced Clitorectomies, child marrigae, infidel beheadings, homosexual hangings, etc. would all be condoned here in the States.
