The AIG “Outrage”: Smokescreen for Dirty Deeds
Right soup is reporting that today, H.R 1388 was passed by Congress (320-150). It is known as the “Gift act” and will probably cost 6 billion, according to the CBO, since most of the “volunteers” that work will, most likely, be paid. This is part of the wording of the bill: “Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.”
At the same time, of course, Barry also wants to limit charitable donations, as because he would rather tax you and then get the credit for “engaging” these volunteers. By the way, there will be volunteers of all ages and even though it is being called voluntary, it may not be. We have a constitutional amendment that abolished slavery. That is the 13th Amendment. It states: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for a crime… shall exist within the United States of America.”
Quite a few things were happening during the “smokescreen” of the AIG hearings, like this “Gift Act” which may require mandatory service, and also on Wednesday, 3/18, the Federal Reserve printed a 1.2 trillion new dollars, according to blast Magazine, trying to spur the economy, by buying government bonds and mortgage backed securities.
Apparently, Ben Bernacke doesn’t need any permission from us, even though, as Glenn Beck reported, it’s like taking money out of your left pocket to put in your right, which doesn’t make you any richer.
