“The Domino Pizza Bailout”

After the funny commercial by Domino’s Pizza during the American Idol’s competition, the Daily Kos decided to diss Domino’s CEO, David Brandon, who said he didn’t want a bailout, but wanted to offer one to the American Public. KOS called him a “fake Populist” because he makes 20 million/yr. However, He does run an international company, and while it has suffered some on the Dow Jones, and setbacks in its profits, it is nowhere from being in jeopardy of going under. Through its primarily franchised system, Domino’s operates a network of 8,449 franchised and Company-owned stores in the United States and more than 55 countries.
Apparently, the Daily KOS believes that if you are a Republican, you are automatically suspicious. The same thing is happening in Missouri, where the police are listing pro-lifers, Christians, Ron Paul supporters, and 2nd amendment advocates as “terrorist” and has compiled a list of them to keep under surveillance, according to Timothy Birdnow.
David also ran a pretty cute ad back in January, when his company received a “cease and desist” letter from its competitor, Subway. This involved an ad claiming that a poll showed that people preferred the Domino’s sandwich to Subway’s, according to Stefanie Murray. David threw the letter into the oven to bake.
Frankly, I think David is doing a pretty good job, which is more than I can say for the current squatter in the White House. In 2007, David was awarded Coach of the Year Award by the AFCF, according American Foundation of Football Coaches. David said: “I dedicate this award to all of the great coaches I had over the course of my life, including my Dad; my high school coaches, Bob Keezer, Garvin Smith and Jim Rockel; and Coach Bo Schembechler.” He said his dad taught him a “strong work ethic” and Bo Schembechler told him: “You can never stay the same. You either get better … or you get worse.”
The Daily KOS tried to compare David to Marie Antoinette, when they said “David said “Let them eat Pizza”. Maybe the folks at Daily KOS need to take a few nutrition courses. The last time I checked, Pizza does have a lot of nutritive value, compared to cake: cheese, tomatoes, vegetables, and for those who like it, meat.
