As I mentioned in a previous post, it was a combination of drug trafficker’s money and Pakstanis that accounted for the latest terror attack in Mumbai. Deepak Chopra had made a complete fool of himself by blaming the United States for these attacks.

In a recent interview with Viktor Ivanov, according to LaRouchePAC, he said that they had substantiated the financing of the attacks by mob rings connected to Mumbai underworld Mafia man, Daywood Ibrahm. The FBI has also asked Pakistan to hand him over as well, according to IBNLive.com, but Daywood lives in hiding, sometimes abroad in Dubai.

The Russian anti-narcotics director said that it is the Afghanistan drug trade that is the underpinnings of the extensive warfare training that was necessary.

So LaRouche argues that it is the drug trade that must be dismantled before you can start to deal with the Islamic mindset. Of course, we know that the incoming Obama administration wants to take the war to the front in Afghanistan. It has been argued that it will be very difficult to succeed in leaving a democratic regime there, however, since Afghanistan is pretty much set in the 14th century. That was the argument used for going into Iraq, instead of Afghanistan, and, it appears that there may have been some success in establishing a democratic regime in Iraq.
