“Localism” to be Used by Obama to Stifle Dissent

Published by vrajavala under Uncategorized Edit This

People have been worried that the Obama will try to re-instate the “Fairness Doctrine“in order to stifle conservative talk radio. But, according to American thinker Obamabi plans to use the principle of “localism”, which is actually more devastating.

Now, according to the article, this tactic of Obambi’s is an “Alinsky Jujitsu“, in other words, using a little known regulation and using it to promote the socialist agenda. The transition head of the FCC for the Obambi Admin is Frank Riviera who was been chairman of the Minority Media Telecommunications Council.

In the article/speech that Obamabi presented on September 20, 2007 during an FCC meeting, he cited that syndication of Talk shows does not allow minority operators a chance; look at the speech.

This approach, you will remember, was also the basis for the Community Reinvestment Act which gave mortgages to unqualified borrowers and got us into this economic meltdown. Of course, this is all about being “fair” isn’t it?

In this year of 2008, when Journalism died, radio Talk show Hosts are planning their strategy to deal with this upcoming oppression.

My own feeling is that these minority news people and “local” radio hosts have plenty of opportunities with the internet. There is youtube which is only one of many blog tv possibilities on the internet. In fact I have a friend in India who broadcasts his meetings every Saturday on Blogtv.com.

“Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press….” US Constitution Ammendment 1. The Founders’ idea of fairness, equality, etc, was never about equal results, but equal opportunity, but I think that we can leave it to the consumers. Ratings can make or break the media. Isn’t that the way it should be? Yes free opportunity, but if it’s not popular, who’s fault is that? Do we all have to be in lockstep?
